North Dakota Selects ESO to Create Statewide Data Repository for EMS Agencies

May 9, 2018 – AUSTIN, TexasESO, the leading data and software company serving emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments and hospitals, today announced it is partnering with North Dakota to create a data repository to collect and analyze EMS patient care reports from the more than 120 EMS agencies across the state. The collection and analysis of data will help with injury prevention, performance improvement and better patient outcomes. The project is an initiative of the Division of Emergency Medical Systems of the North Dakota Department of Health.

North Dakota will begin immediate implementation of ESO’s web-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) software platform to capture and analyze data from state agencies, as well as report that data to the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS). ESO EHR is NEMSIS 3.4.0 compliant and will maintain all future NEMSIS compliance requirements. The system will be live and fully functional for all state agencies by July 1, 2018.
