How You’ll Support Our Mission
As an integral member of ESO’s Engineering team, you will be fully embedded in one of our Belfast-based Product teams, working closely with ESO’s highly talented Engineers to test the next generation of SaaS web products. Our Suite and Tools Product team enables new clients to get started on ESO software, as well as upgrading existing clients to newer, more powerful products, in support of ESO’s mission to improve community health and safety through the power of data. This is a new team in Belfast, and we are conducting greenfield research and development with our frontend application in Angular and backend Azure serverless APIs in C#.

What You’ll Be Doing – the day to day
- Design, plan, and execute test plans and test cases for our leading-edge web products.
- Create automated test frameworks, using the latest testing tools.
- Be the testing advocate and quality advocate in an agile product team.
- Mentor and support junior SDETs
Who You Are - some of the essential things required to be successful in the role: 
- 5+ years’ experience in software testing activities including test planning, execution, monitoring, defect tracking, and test reporting.
- Your experience should include:
- Design principles for creating and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Experience working within an agile product team.
- Experience using GIT or another distributed version control system.
- Mentoring other SDETs.
Who You Are – it’s desirable if you have any of the following:
- Exposure to SQL and relational database concepts.
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
- Experience of Microservice architectures.
- Experience with non-functional testing tools and techniques (e.g. performance, security, accessibility).
